Cycling
Children are encouraged to cycle to school, but in the interest of safety it is essential that they wear a cycling helmet and that their bicycles are in good working order. A lock is also recommended.
If you wish your child to cycle to school could you please complete a cycling letter which is available from the Deputy Head.
School Bus Services
Suffolk County Council’s transport policies set out the help they may be able to provide to children who do not live within walking distance of their nearest suitable school.
This distance is measured by the shortest available walking route and is three miles for children aged eight and over. If after reading their relevant transport policy, you believe your child might be entitled to school travel, you must opt-in by 31 May each year. If you are unsure if you need to opt-in please contact customer services at customer.services@suffolk.gov.uk or on 0345 606 6173
